~ News ~ India Fest 2008 attracted 8,000 attendees. A band from Mumbai entertained the audience on Saturday and Indian Idol star Amit Paul rocked the arena on Sunday. The audience danced with Amit and many stood in line to get his autograph. This year's India Fest set new heights with approximately 800 performers sharing the stage during the two day festival. Vendors from New York to Florida provided a variety of traditional crafts and cuisine choices to visitors. ~ Mission ~ About Nuv Yug The

Nuv Yug is a non-profit tax-exempt organization with a mission to promote awareness of Indian Cultural Arts. We strive to create synergy among various cultural groups from the South Asian region. Since 2003, Nuv Yug's flagship event India Fest - Your Gateway to India has been organized with support from City of Raleigh Arts Commission and United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
